IPM-16

The Chromatec IPM-16 in-picture audio and video meter is supports the display of embedded audio as vertical bar graphs superimposed on through-going video to check that audio is within pre-determined limits and in phase.. This provides an effective in-picture alarm system for both audio and video errors. Up to 4 groups (16 channels) of embedded audio may be displayed simultaneously, superimposed in four groups on the video.

The IPM-16-EXT additionally accepts up to 16 external audio channels, as analogue or AES. Up to 8ch analogue audio monitor outputs may be derived from any input, embedded or external. Up to 4 groups (16 channels) of embedded audio may be displayed simultaneously superimposed in four groups on the video, with the opacity of the bar graphs set by the user. Two EBU R128 compliant loudness meters may be displayed, with each one allowing up to 5 channels to contribute to the loudness level shown.
