MD-16

The flexible audio monitor card supports the display of embedded audio (or optional external audio) as vertical bargraphs, superimposed on the through-going video, and provides an effective alarm system for both audio and video errors. Up to 8ch analogue audio monitor outputs may be derived from any output, embedded or external. 

Up to 4 channel groups (16 channels) of audio may be displayed simultaneously, superimposed in 4 groups on the video. Many variables, including size, position and opacity of the bargraphs, can be set by the user, with the ability to store and recall presets.
The MD-16 card is packaged in the openGear® format. It can be used as a stand-alone device or in multiples to form a multi-channel system (similar to the original Chromatec E-Series) with external control and alarms reporting via the openGear® Dashboard application.

It is ideal for monitoring audio and video presence in production and transmission environments and to check that the audio is within pre-determined limits and in phase.
